Student job in Biocommunication and Entomology
10%, Zurich, fixed-term
The Biocommunication Group at ETH Zürich, led by Professor Consuelo De Moraes, is looking for a student assistant to work approx. 15-18 hours per month (3-5 hours spread across 2-3 days per week), starting near the end of June or start of July. The position is available on a long-term basis, and ideally we are looking for a student who would want to stay for more than 6 months. Which days and times are worked are flexible upon discussion.
Job description
The main focus of the job is laboratory cleaning and maintenance, but may also include potting and watering plants, rearing various insect species, and helping students and staff prepare their experiments.
Profile
You must be a current Bachelor or Master student at ETH or UZH, fluent in English, and comfortable working with insects.
