Project background

CUTISS AG, a biotech company spin-off of the University of Zurich (UZH), focuses on the development of personalized bioengineered skin graft products for the treatment of skin defects. Its lead product denovoSkin™ has successfully completed Phase I in pediatric patients. Clinical Phase II studies are underway in Europe and Switzerland.

Job description

Your responsibilities will include the production of autologous skin substitutes for phase II clinical trials according to SOPs and GMP guidelines in the cleanroom facility of Wyss Zurich; the support of the production team in the validation of analytical methods, production processes and equipment qualifications; as well as participating in the further development of the product and the production processes. You will also be involved in the generation and review of the GMP documentation, together with the warehouse and laboratory management.

Your profile

The qualified candidate is a highly motivated, interactive individual that possesses the ability to work individually and collectively. The successful candidate will demonstrate clear and professional verbal and written communication as well as reporting.

You hold a B.Sc. in a biological field (e.g. biology, tissue engineering, biotechnologies, and biomedicine) or a comparable education. Practical experience working with human cell cultures and strong aseptic working skills are a must. Ideally you bring with you some experience in a GMP environment. You have a communicative, team-oriented and flexible personality with a great sense of quality, responsibility and an independent working method. You are fluent in German and English (additional languages are a plus) and you bring good MS-Office knowledge with you.

Additional requirement: you must hold a work permit in Switzerland.
